Q: Video Loss appears where the image from my camera should be displaying on my DVR? A: 1. Ensure that the extension cable (power and video) is securely connected to the camera. 2. Check that the video output from the camera is securely connected to a video input channel on the DVR. 3. Verify that the power from the camera is securely connected to a power supply. 4. The camera mode may not match your DVR. There are two ways to set it up: (1) Press the OSD Joystick "DOWN" for 5 seconds. If there is still no picture, try pressing "LEFT," "RIGHT," and "UP" for 5 seconds until the signal matches your DVR. (2) Make sure the signal of your DVR is compatible. Use the OSD Joystick to change the camera mode according to your DVR's video Mode.
